That is so awesome to know that you guys are taking that over there. I think we need to learn from you guys and have and event as cool as yours in America. The pictures I saw at: http://WWW.TRENDMAGAZIN-KASPAR.DE/news/party.php4?id=70 look sweet. DJ's actually spinning with MC's. It looks like there was some graffiti guys there. There seems to be multiple events and contests going on. A lot of my friends down here would love to see something like that. Something that GIRLS would actually be interested in going to. My god what a concept. I think there needs to be a footbag tournament revolution personally. I think Worlds 01 And the stuff going on in Europe is the first step. Can't forget about Blurred Vision and Nike PLAY which was really cool. Does anyone agree with me. Email me please. Chris Allen of Memphis, TN died Sunday, September 9th while playing net footbag. The cause of death is most likely a heart-attack. Chris has been playing footbag since the early eighties and was one of the regular members of the Memphis Footworks footbag club. He was known for his easy-going attitude, great sets and killer serves. The last of which earned him the nickname "KC" as he served his way to his highest finish in doubles net in Kansas City, MO in 1987 with Andy Linder. KC left us on a beautiful, sunny Sunday afternoon while playing the game he loved with almost all of his significant friends by his side. We will miss him very much. Services for KC will be held in Memphis on Thursday at Resurrection Catholic Church 10:00 AM. Net play will continue in his honor on Sunday at the Memphis Waterworks at 1:00PM. If you can organize a "kick in for peace" this weekend, great ! Let someone know what you are doing, such as the local media , and why ! If you do any kicking in a public area, invite onlookers to join in, in to your circle of positive energy. You can make a difference. Ask Daniel Botkin , Footbags for Peace, for advice via this website's memberlist, if you want to really understand what a positive influence you can provide from sharing this game with others worldwide. And tell other footbag players what you have done and are doing for making a positive difference in the world via this website ! Another reason to join in and support the new IFPA. Peace , via friendship, is the word. Share it with others via footbag play. Best regards, Ted Huff , Footbag Hall of Fame Historical Society
