I was wondering what you guys could suggest I do to fix it. If a seam needs repair and the material is still intact, just revisit it with a narrow guage needle and thread. But if a panel wears or blows out entirely you must either patch over (with a new panel of similar material and contact cement) or remove entirely and re-sew a new panel in its place. This can be labor intensive and you have to question the value. If a favorite old footbag of mine gets worn and starts to leak beads, I generally retire it and put it into the collection rack. After a few months or years of that technique, you'll have the ugliest footbag ever, to rival only mine. :-) Steve At 4:44 PM -0500 1/19/02, Daniel Botkin wrote: >\Ryan, > >...unless a footbag is a real gem, usually it doesn't pay to fix it. It looks really sincere, and wears OK. :) Juliet Steve Goldberg wrote: > Or if you're like me, you just slop some rubber cement over the hole, > let it dry, and voy-lah.
